Why Daycare Matters

Regular daycare plays an important role in your dog’s overall well-being. It helps burn off energy, which can reduce destructive behaviors at home, while also building confidence in new environments. Dogs who attend daycare consistently tend to improve their social skills with both people and other dogs, and they benefit from the mental stimulation that helps reduce boredom and anxiety. Over time, this creates a more balanced, well-behaved, and fulfilled dog.

What Makes Us Different

At The Bark Park, we take a more intentional approach to daycare. Instead of nonstop play, we focus on balance—combining social interaction, structured enrichment, and rest throughout the day. Dogs stay mentally engaged with activities like scent work, puzzles, and light training while still getting plenty of time to play and socialize.

We group dogs based on temperament and play style to keep interactions safe and positive, and our team is always actively supervising to maintain a controlled, comfortable environment. The result is a daycare experience where dogs don’t just burn energy—they stay engaged, build confidence, and leave fulfilled.

Daycare Options

We offer flexible daycare options based on your dog’s needs. Our full-day daycare is $33 and includes five or more hours of play, enrichment, and social interaction, while our half-day option is $26 for up to five hours—perfect for pups who just need a shorter visit or a quick energy release.

For those who come regularly, we also offer daycare packages that provide added value and make it easier to keep your pup on a consistent routine.

A Day in the Life of a Bark Park Pup 🐾

  • We’re here all week, ready to welcome both familiar faces and new pups into the pack 🐾 Our team makes sure every dog feels comfortable, gets settled into the right playgroup, and has a great experience from the moment they walk in.

    If it’s your pup’s first time, we’ll guide them through a quick temperament evaluation and answer any questions you have along the way.

    Full Day Drop-Off:
    Monday–Friday: 7:30–9:30 AM
    Saturday: 10:00–11:00 AM
    (No daycare on Sundays unless boarding)

    Half Day Drop-Off (Mon–Fri only):
    7:30–9:00 AM or 12:00–1:00 PM
    (Saturday is full day only)

    Pick-Up Window:
    Monday–Saturday: 4:00–6:00 PM
    (No daycare on Sundays unless boarding)

    Reservations are required before opening on the day of service, but we’ll always try to accommodate when we can.

  • Once everyone’s settled in, we ease into structured play and enrichment. From group interaction to games that keep them thinking and moving, this is where your pup really gets into their rhythm. Every dog is different, so we adjust the pace and activities to match their energy and comfort level.

  • As the morning winds down, we shift into a calmer pace. We dim the energy, play soft, calming music, and give dogs space to relax and recharge. Some pups settle in for a nap, while others enjoy quiet time or a few extra cuddles.

    This downtime helps prevent overstimulation and keeps your dog feeling balanced, comfortable, and ready for the rest of their day.

  • After their reset, we ease dogs back into activity at their own pace. Some are ready to jump right back in, while others take a little more time to warm up. We start with lighter play and low-pressure enrichment before building the energy back up.

    As the day picks up again, we adjust playgroups as needed and continue with structured interaction, making sure every dog stays comfortable, engaged, and having a good time.

  • As the day continues, we shift into more focused engagement. This is where dogs get a chance to use their brains—working through simple training, learning new skills, and reinforcing the basics.

    Whether it’s practicing commands or just staying engaged through structured activities, this part of the day helps build confidence, improve behavior, and keep your pup mentally stimulated.

  • As the afternoon picks up, we tap into your dog’s natural instincts with scent-based games and enrichment. Treats and toys are hidden throughout the space, encouraging dogs to sniff, search, and stay engaged.

    This kind of activity keeps their minds active, builds confidence, and gives them a fun, rewarding challenge to break up the day.
